Well I have introduced everyone in my family except my lovable dog Murphy:) He is the best dog ever, except when he tears wholes in our carpets which then my husband says "that is YOUR dog" and then I cleverly respond "well you married me and now he is yours too!". He is a golden and loves attention and is fantastic with kids...you couldn't wish for a better dog. So this is Murphy in March ( wanted to point out this was shot JPEG, Before I made the switch to RAW). You might be asking what is on his neck, does he have some disease, ummmm that doesn't look like the best dog ever! Well the story is Murphy had acquired ear mites which I didn't know he had. He was shaking his head all the time and hit his ear on something and he developed a ear hematoma ( a pocket under the skin filled with blood). I hope I am not grossing some of you out. In order for the ear to heal they had to put this collar on to keep him from rubbing it. He was really sad with his white collar on and was running into everything for a couple days, it was quit funny! He developed Cone Head for a nick name:)
Now these two pictures are from today (which are shot RAW and to me you can see a difference in quality). So now you are probably wondering why does he still have the white collar on,. The collar was only on for three weeks before but Murphy obviously loved it so much he wanted it back on:) I think he liked the special attention. This time he didn't have ear mites but just plan old allergies. He was shaking his head again and did the same thing to the other ear! This time around he is just plan running into everything all the time and has even knocked Lukke down a couple of times. He gets it off next week, I can't wait. Anyssa gets embarrassed to take him for walks. I still think he is cute!
I wanted to share one last picture of Murphy last summer with no cone around his head, to be fair to him of course to show off how cute he is! This picture is in JPEG.

What a sad face! He really is a great dog, I have to agree. I love the second picture with the cone around his head - best picture of a dog ever. :-)
