Today is October 16th the official start of guessing what and when I will be having my baby. My good friend Brandi had a little baby shower for me in the beginning of September and made the cute chart shown above. People just had to guess what day and what gender and they win a cool prize. Pretty fun:) So is it a girl or is it a boy...that is my BIG question. I am dying to find out! Below is the only gender specific clothing I own for Baby October.
So cute...I love baby clothes! But that has been the hardest of not knowing the gender picking out clothes. I can't wait to go shopping after the baby arrives. I had Camille come over and snap a few belly shots of me to have for the baby book. Here are just a few of those shots.
I love the heart shape hands on the belly.

What is that old saying...when it rains it pours? Well that is a good phrase to describe my life since I have been back from Texas. The sunshine is just starting to come through the clouds. These clouds and rain have been full of good, crazy, busy times. I got back from Texas the end of July and Mike returned home the second week of August. From that time we have moved in 100 degree weather, remodel (which is still a work in progress), Mike and Anyssa started school, Mike coaching football started right when he got back, and we are trying to get ready for a baby in about 5 weeks. And living in Phoenix rain is rare so it just so happened one of the many nights of moving it started to pour on us! Talk about crazy! The streets where flooded and everything was literally dumped in my living room.
But now things are on the more calm side. I am finally getting back to a normal schedule but it won't be for long....baby October will be arriving in about 5 weeks. I say baby October because we don't know if the gender is a boy or a girl. That has been hard and that is a blog for a different day!!!
So that is the Gunderson update:) Oh yeah and Luke loves his monkey umbrella now he wants rain boots, a rain hat, and a rain jacket...he doesn't quit understand living in Phoenix we just don't use that stuff.

Meet the adorable Dawsyn. He was born July 18th in Austin, TX. He is my new little nephew!!! I was so happy to be there to see his arrival. I just love babies, they are so peaceful and such a miracles. Seeing baby Dawsyn made me so excited to have our new baby in a few months! I had to have a little newborn session with him before I left:) He is such a precious baby and he is going to be so much bigger the next time I see him now that my brother lives in Austin also. Here are some of those fun pictures.
Rikkie, my lovely sister and law, had this fantastic idea for a different picture of the little tiny feet:) I love it!!!

Many of you know Mike joined the Air Guard in the Fall of 2008. He left for Basic Training April 21st and now is an official Airman! His graduation was so much fun, a two day event. His parents where able to come which was really nice. Mike really works hard at everything he does and I am so proud of him. There is a lot of pictures in this post but everyone tells a story, I had a hard time narrowing them down.
Day One was the Airman Run follow by The Coin Ceremony. The Airmen run is where the run a mile in unison for everyone to cheer them on. It is the first time we get a glimpse of Mike in 9 weeks...so there was much anticipation. Here are a few of us waiting to get a sneak peak of Mike.
This is Anyssa with her Grandma Ginny (Mike's Mom)
Luke waiting to cheer on his DaDa:)
Anyssa took this picture of Luke and I....isn't it cute.
I was trying to get a picture of all the feet when the men started running by...about 300 or more of them.
and here is Mike...he had to stand by some really tall men in his flight even though he is 5'11 they tower over him.
This is a picture of his flights name and logo...The Knights.
After the run was The Coin Ceremony and right after this Mike was released for a few hours to spend time with us.
The Airmen in the dress blues....
In this picture you can see Mike...he is the second one helping with passing out the coins...one of his jobs as the Dorm Room Chief.
I love these two pictures. Luke was so excited to see Mike, his eyes just twinkled and he had a permanent smile on his face. It was so sweet.
The next day, Friday, they had an official graduation and a parade with all the graduating men walking by. It was really amazing. Lackland Air Force Base has graduations 50 weeks out of the year...that is a lot of airmen every year.
Here is Mike walking by looking so handsome in his dress blues!
A few shots after....
Luke and his Grandpa Ed in front of an old airplane.
Mike couldn't wait to get off the base. Now he is in training for 6 weeks and will be home in August. I can't wait!

Well I am in Austin, Texas for a few months to be closer to Mike and spend sometime with my mom, brother and his family. I left last week and arrived Friday evening....what a drive. We have two dogs Murphy a Golden Retriever who is going to be 8 this September and a 11 month old Chocolate Lab, Hiro (pronounced Hero). Hiro is the puppy we got last summer and I had a voting contest on his name which I love. Hiro is very handsome, humongous, and such a great looking dog. Full of energy and personality. Luke has a blast chasing him around and Hiro has been good for Murphy by getting some youth back in him. Since we drove to Texas I decided Murphy would be the calm one to take on a road trip and Hiro would stay with our good friends Brandi and Jarred. Brandi and Jarred where awesome to take such a energetic dog for two months for us. Thursday night I had a message to call Jarred. I was thinking what could have happened...maybe Hiro ate all their plants (which he likes to do) and they couldn't keep him or worse maybe he ran away. So I called them back....and I never imagined the news I got. It breaks my heart to type this ...I am such an animal and dog person. Brandi went shopping and when the kids came home to go swimming they found Hiro in the pool. He had drowned..... very upsetting. I am such a visual person (thus being a photographer) that I just can't get the image out of my head. I feel so bad that I brought Murphy and not Hiro. They think he slipped in and couldn't find the steps. I just feel so bad to that their kids found him...what an awful thing to see. I wanted to post a few pictures of our Hiro and say goodbye to such a great dog whom I will miss very much. Goodbye Hiro thanks for the 10 months of fun and adding a little excitement to our daily routine.
This is my niece Trinity with both of our dogs...she loves them just as much as me.

I wanted to post a blog about my awesome husband Mike and how proud I am of him. This past summer he approached me to discuss him joining the Reserves. It was something he really prayed about and felt it was something he should do for our family. We talked about and he researched all the branches of the military and weighed the pros and cons of each one. In August he decided to join the Air Reserves. He left three weeks ago to basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. Mike loves to work out and experience new levels of being challenged. He is a High School Physical Education Teacher and coaches Football so basic training is right up his alley. I miss him so much and am looking forward to his Graduation on June 19th. From there he goes to training for his job and will be home in August just in time for school to start. Mike is an amazing person and I feel so blessed and lucky to have such a wonderful husband to share my life with. He truly makes me a better person. He is the one who pushed me to follow my dream and have my own photography business so I can stay at home! Mike is also our second photographer. We have fun working together at weddings:) He is a man of many talents!
What is a blog with out some pictures! Here is Mike looking so handsome:)
Now this is from a few years ago but it is one of my fav's...Mike thinks he looks like he is in a boy band in it and doesn't care for it as much as me. But I think he looks so cute!
This is Mikes goofy side! He can do this weird eye trick to and freak kids out it is funny:)
Here is one of us at a wig party. Mike and I like to dress up and do fun things just for the heck of it. When Mike wanted baby blue tuxes at our wedding I knew it was a match that was made to be!
Just a few more:) This is Mike and I on my mom's mac. I love the retro pictures!
One from our Honeymoon in Belize which was a blast!
The last one...my recent favorite of us two. On my 30th birthday last year. I love Mike in green.
